# Initiate payment mode

If you're using your Go2 myPOS terminal with the pulse SmVend controller, you must enable the `Initiate payment` mode on the terminal. Please follow these steps:

Connect the power cable to the terminal. The terminal will start charging.

Hold the power button. Release the button after the sound signal. The terminal will power on.

Once the terminal has powered up, the white screen with the message "myPOS helps my business grow" will appear. Press the `F2` button to open the `Settings Menu 1`.

Press `6` (`Transactions config`) → Press `4` (`Initiate payment`) → Press `1` (`ON`).

After these settings, the phrase "To pay press any key" will appear on the main screen.
