# Jofemar

To connect your Jofemar coffee machine with the Mini controller, please use the standard [MDB scheme](/equipment-installation/coffee-machines/mdb/mdb-+-mini-controller.md).

To connect your Jofemar coffee machine with the Smart controller, please follow steps below:

1. Find the 12V power supply unit on the front panel (marked with a yellow circle)
2. Disconnect the wires currently connected to the power supply unit (indicated by an orange arrow)
3. Insert the SmVend cable between the disconnected wires (indicated by two orange arrows) to establish a parallel connection
4. Identify the two MDB ports on the machine (indicated by blue arrows)
5. Connect the MDB cable to either of the two MDB ports (blue arrows)
