This guide provides a comprehensive step-by-step process to set up the myPOS Mini with the SmVend Controller. Whether you are a seasoned vending machine operator or new to the industry, this guide will help you seamlessly integrate these technologies, ensuring your vending machine is equipped to handle a variety of payment methods.

Step by step

1. Registration Register for the myPOS service by visiting myPOS Enrollment.

2. Add the terminal Add the terminal to your myPOS account using the serial number printed on the back of the terminal.

3. Power up Turn on the terminal by holding the right button on the top of the terminal.

4. Configure the terminal

Go to the Settings menu 1 by pressing F2

Go to the Settings menu 2 by pressing F2 again

Go to the Change profile by pressing 6

Step 4

Select Cash register by pressing 2 ; the terminal will be rebooted

Step 5

After the terminal is rebooted, select RS-232 by pressing 3 in the Connection type menu

Step 6

Select SIM card by pressing 3 in the Financial host connectivity menu.

Step 7

Select 115200 by pressing 2 in the Financial host connectivity menu.

5. Gather Necessary Equipment All necessary equipment is listed below:

   1. myPOS card (or another bank card)

   2. SmVend telemetry controller

   3. myPOS mini protective cover

   4. myPOS mini POS terminal

   5. myPOS micro USB power cable

   6. SmVend - myPOS DB9 cable

   7. myPOS mini USB-RS232 cable

6. Connect to SmVend controller

• Connect the micro USB power cable and the RS232 mini USB cable to the corresponding POS-terminal connectors. Connect the other end of the power cable to the USB port on the controller, or an external power source.

• Put the POS terminal into a protective cover.

• Connect myPOS mini USB RS232 cable to SmVend - myPOS DB9 cable.

• Connect the second end of the SmVend - myPOS DB9 cable to the corresponding connector on the SmVend telemetry controller.
