Reassembling the K96L cable

To connect the power supply to the SmVend telemetry controller, follow these steps to reassemble your coffee machine's standard +24V power supply cable.

Attention! Ensure the coffee machine is turned off before performing any actions.

1. Prepare the coffee machine

1. Turn off the coffee machine Ensure the coffee machine is completely powered off.

2. Remove the back cover Remove the back cover of the coffee machine to access the internal components.

3. Locate the power supply cable Find the +24V power supply cable you will reassemble (the pink one marked in the picture below).

2. Disconnect the existing cable

1. Disconnect the cable

   Disconnect the cable marked in the photo below from the coffee machine.

3. Connect the SmVend cable

1. Disconnect the +24V wire Disconnect the +24V wire from the connector.

2. Connect wires Connect the disconnected +24V wire to the +24V (red) wire of the SmVend cable. You can twist the wires together, but for the best contact, solder the wires.

3. Reconnect the cable Connect the joined wires back into the connector of the coffee machine cable.

4. Final connections

1. Reconnect to the coffee machine

   Connect the reassembled cable back to the coffee machine.

2. Connect to the level converter and SmVend controller

   Connect the cable to the level converter and the SmVend telemetry controller. The level converter is supplied with the controller.
