# Self Manual

Before you can get started, the individual modules must be correctly and securely mounted. Then the commissioning process described below must also be carried out before configuration.

### **Commissioning your terminal**

Press the `Maintenance button` immediately when it turns white and keep pressed until it is blinking red. Release the LED button when it blinks red.

**Note:** The white light is only available directly after connecting it to power for approx. 2 seconds. After that moment you are no longer able to get into the maintenance mode unless power is dis- and reconnected again.

The terminal reboots and the menu will open, then press `1`

You need to select the **MDB** option, not the TIM option. Press `2`

**MDB configuration**&#x20;

To setup the terminal for vending machine using a MDB protocol, you will need to do additional configuration steps.

Choose the requested cashless address and confirm with `OK`

Choose the timeout of MDB delivery and confirm with `OK`

### Static IP Configuration&#x20;

It may be required to setup static IP on your terminal. Here are the alternative steps to take at step 8 of the main flow.
